❍ What technically is going on ?
▣ Plutonium is a powerful psychoacoustic plugin that adds sub-audible signals to specific stereo ranges creating an effect that can be physically felt rather that heard.
▣ It utilizes advanced techniques in stereo, compression, equalization, and transient alteration to excite frequencies at specific stereo ranges. With Plutonium and PlutoniumXtra, music producers, engineers, and audiophiles can take their audio to the next level.
▣ Use the right panel to excite frequencies independently (efficient on Drum and 808 elements).
▣ Or click at the Preset Buttons to send the effect to all of them at different intensities, giving you the ability to make the sound more dense in specific stereo ranges and create delicate separations while maintaining the overall mix balance.
▣ PlutoniumXtra enables you to add richness to your sounds in the Mid and gives you the option to choose which body part you want to emphasize.
▣ Plutonium can be used on Vocals, Drums, Instruments, for any type of music, anywhere in your mixing or mastering chain.
Tip 1: The more Kick/bass you’ll send, the better It will work.
Tip 2: To get the best results, you may want to use trimmers to fine-tune the plugin’s settings if the VU meters (which are linked with the body parts in the GUI) barely move.

❍ MIX
▣ Drums: (Drum/808 mode)
-Use Plutonium for each Drum Elements as demonstrated in the Video “2.Learn how to use Plutonium: Drums/808 mode”.
-Play with the Generator and get the tone you like to define the Contrast between the elements.
▣ Bass: (Mixtrack mode)
-PlutoniumXtra focuses specifically on the Mid and will be really efficient on Bass elements (you could go further by combining it with Plutonium).
▣ Instruments: (Mixtrack mode)
-Use a Plutonium for each Element you wanna Enhance and use the preset buttons to trigger different feelings.
-Add Ambience to the track with the Protective and Hypnotic presets.
-Make the track Stand out with the Talkative and Alive presets.
-Add Body to the track with the Aggressive, Sensual and Passionate presets.
▣ Vocals: (Vocal mode)
-Use PlutoniumXtra and click Heart or Throat to make the Vocal stand out. Additionally, you could use Plutonium with a different Preset or different Generator option.

-Get the attack back by turning the mix knob down especially for Drums and 808s.
-Use the plugin window for Plutonium preset button automation. A preset automation lane has been provided to make your automations more readable. Writing preset automation directly in your DAW’s automation lane will not override the slider automations. However, PlutoniumXtra works differently as it allows you to write preset automations in your DAW’s lane, as there are no sliders involved.
Plutonium comes with PlutoniumXtra, which, in addition to adding character to your track, allows you to choose by toggling presets where you want to place your sound on the mid-axis, making it particularly effective for vocal and bass elements.
